UK FRS Tactical Command Trainer – Training Strategy Group

The Facilitators’ Group is formed from active and developing practitioners of the Tactical Command Trainer software. It is open to all Services which currently use the software and pay the annual maintenance fees, plus technical experts nominated by VectorCommand.

This group meets formally twice a year to discuss a more technical agenda in which Practitioners can discuss issues relating to the actual use of the Tactical Command Trainer simulator. It also provides a forum for the sharing of best practice, makes recommendations for future development of scenarios or of the system, and also provides an agreed set of items for the Training Strategy Group to consider as policy decisions.

UK FRS Tactical Command Trainer – Training Strategy group

The UK FRS Tactical Command Trainer – Training Strategy Group is formed to discuss any National and Service issues relating to the use and development of the Tactical Command Trainer system. It is open to all Services which have purchased, are sharing or are considering purchasing the Tactical Command Trainer simulator system.

The meeting Chair is nominated by CFOA and the Chair liaises with the Group and CFOA and is able to feed into the group the national position on Command and Operations, national changes to Command Strategy and Policy, as well as National or Service Operational policies affecting use and development of the simulator.

The Training Strategy Group also considers and responds to the recommendations brought forward from the Facilitators’ Group.
